I'm off to Weymouth until Wednesday evening.

So there's a article on CNN about gay parents taking their kids to the White House's egg role.

Some idiotic congressman is saying it's only for political reasons and it's wrong to make a kid's event about politics.

This annoys me.

I don't see why it's being seen by some as poltical. Did it occur to them that just maybe, families with same sex parents are going simply because they're a family who have kids of the right age who want to go?

Not everything gay parents do for their families is political and it annoys me that some people just don't see that.

I don't know if I'm putting this into words clearly enough, I'm genuenly baffled as to how some people can take this view.

All I can say is that I'm glad I live in the UK when I read articles like this.
